Request a Quote for European Windows and Doors
Every InterHaus window and door is made to measure, so every quote is built around your project. Send us your drawings or sizes, tell us how the building should perform, and we will prepare a detailed quotation for supply, installation or supervision.
Tell us about your windows and doors
Share the basics now: where the project is, what type of building it is and roughly how many openings you have. Then email drawings, schedules or photos to info@interhaus.ca with your name, and we will match them to your request.

How an InterHaus quote comes together
A window quote is only as good as the information behind it. Our process turns your drawings into a specification you can build from.
- 01
Send your project details
Use the form, then send drawings, a window schedule or photos by email. Tell us whether this is a new build or a renovation, and whether you have a Passive House or Net Zero target.
- 02
Specialist review
A product specialist reviews the openings and the wall construction, and flags anything that needs a decision: opening types, very large units, safety glass locations or details that affect installation.
- 03
Specification and recommendations
We propose a system for each opening, from Internorm uPVC, uPVC/aluminum or wood/aluminum frames to Reynaers or Schüco all-aluminum, with glazing and hardware to suit.
- 04
Detailed quotation
You receive a quotation listing each unit by size, configuration, material, design style, colour and glazing, with supply, installation or supervision included as requested.
- 05
Refine and confirm
Designs often change as a project develops. We revise the quote until the specification is right, then confirm the order with you.
The information that makes a quote accurate
Custom European windows are priced unit by unit, so small gaps in the information can move the result. A quote based on a complete window schedule holds up through the project; a quote based on assumptions changes as the details become clear.
If you only have part of this list, send what you have. We will tell you what is missing and quote the rest.
- Sizes for every opening, and whether they are rough opening, frame or glass sizes
- Elevations or photos showing how each opening divides into fixed and operable sections
- The opening type for each operable sash: tilt & turn, tilt only, turn only, lift-slide or door
- Wall construction and thickness, which affect where the window sits and how it is installed
- Interior and exterior colours, frame material and design style
- Any safety glass, security, acoustic or shading requirements
- The service you want: supply only, supply and install, or supply with on-site supervision
- Site address, access constraints and the stage the building has reached
Choices to think about before you request a quote
You do not need to decide everything up front, but knowing where you stand on these questions brings the first quote much closer to the final one.
Frame material
uPVC for low maintenance and strong thermal values, uPVC/aluminum for a powder-coated exterior shell, wood/aluminum for a real timber interior, or Reynaers and Schüco all-aluminum for slim profiles.
Design style
Internorm frames come in design styles such as Home Pure, Home Soft, Ambiente and Studio, from square-edged to softly rounded. The style changes how the frame reads inside the room.
Glazing
Triple glazing is the starting point for high-performance projects, with quadruple glazing on some systems. Coatings and gas fill determine the thermal value of the glass.
Security level
Concealed I-tec Secure locking is available up to security class RC 3 on selected systems. Ground-floor and hidden openings are worth discussing early.
Integrated shading
I-tec Shading places Venetian or Duette® blinds between the panes, powered by a built-in photovoltaic module and battery.
Sound reduction
Busy roads and close neighbours call for more acoustic protection. The KF 410, for example, reaches 34–47 dB depending on its glazing.
Doors and large openings
Lift-slide doors, entrance doors and fixed glazing can be quoted with the windows, so the whole envelope is specified together.
Performance target
If you are aiming for Passive House or Net Zero, say so at the start. It changes the systems and glazing we recommend.

Getting the glass right
Glass is most of the surface of a window, so many of the important decisions sit there. Internorm’s thermal insulation glazing uses wafer-thin coatings and noble gases such as argon or krypton between the panes, with warm-edge spacers at the perimeter. Internorm notes that choosing triple glazing over double lets you include 40% more glass area without increasing heating costs, which is why we treat triple glazing as the baseline for Canadian homes.
Safety glass matters in doors, low windows and large panes. ESG toughened safety glass breaks into blunt-edged crumbs, while VSG laminated safety glass holds together on a tear-resistant interlayer, which also helps with security. Where privacy is needed, entrance doors can use design glass such as Satinato white.
Tell us about orientation and use as well. Large south- and west-facing glazing affects summer comfort, and blinds between the panes, explained on our integrated blinds page, are one way to manage it without exterior hardware.

How supply and installation work
Internorm windows and doors are made to order in Austria, at the Traun, Sarleinsbach and Lannach plants, to the exact specification in your confirmed quote. Because each unit is custom, we check sizes and configurations carefully with you before the order goes into production.
Finished products come into our local warehouse in Ontario. From there we coordinate delivery to your site with the builder or site lead, so windows arrive when the openings are ready for them rather than waiting exposed on site.
What happens next depends on the service you chose. With Supply Only, your own crew installs. With Supply & Install, our qualified fitters set each window and door and complete the connection to the wall. With Supply & Supervision, a third party installs while our team is on site for a few days to guide handling, fitting and finishing. In every case, our after-sale service remains available for adjustments and small repairs.
We do not publish delivery times here, because they depend on the products, the size of the order and the state of the site. We talk through scheduling with you once the specification is confirmed.
“Excellent windows and doors for noise and heating and cooling. We had to install new windows in some rooms in our old house and the difference between these ones and our old ones was obvious right away, no condensation in the winter, much quieter in summer (we had very noisy neighbours), very little heat loss so the rooms were warmer in winter and cooler in summer. We were so impressed that we installed them throughout our new house. Viktoryiya was so easy to work with, and the installation was excellent and problem free!”
Quote questions
There is no price list for custom European windows. The cost depends on the size, configuration, material, design style, colour, glazing and hardware of each unit, plus the service you choose. The quickest way to a real number is a quote based on your drawings.
Passive House projects can get a quote within 72 hours. For other projects it depends on the size of the job and how complete the information is. We respond promptly and tell you if anything is missing.
Yes, for budgeting. We can quote from approximate sizes and photos, then refine the figures once sizes are measured or drawings are final. Sizes must be confirmed before anything is ordered.
Yes. Windows, lift-slide doors, entrance doors and fixed glazing can be quoted together, which keeps finishes, colours and performance consistent across the house. See our lift-slide doors for large openings.
Yes. Tell us whether you want Supply Only, Supply & Install or Supply & Supervision, and we will quote accordingly. If you are unsure, we can explain the trade-offs for your project.
Check that each quote covers the same sizes, glazing, opening types and service. Ask for the Uw value of each unit and for the gasket and locking details, since these are where window systems differ most.
