InterHaus Premium Windows and Doors (“InterHaus”, “we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through interhaus.ca and when you contact us, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We handle personal information in line with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
Information we collect
We only collect the information you choose to give us, for example when you send a quote request, contact form, trade-portal registration or Lunch & Learn request, or when you email or call us. Depending on the form, this can include your name, email address, phone number, company or firm, profession, city or province, the type of project and products you are interested in, and any project details, drawings or messages you include.
When a form is sent we also record the page it was sent from and the date and time, so we can follow up on the right request.
How we use it
- To answer your questions and prepare quotes, specifications and project advice
- To arrange showroom visits, site measures, deliveries and installation
- To set up and manage trade-portal access or Lunch & Learn sessions you have asked for
- To keep records of our communication and of projects we supply or install
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we do not add you to marketing lists without your consent.
Who we share it with
Your information is shared only where it is needed to serve your request: for example with the manufacturers whose products you are quoting or ordering (such as Internorm, Reynaers or Schüco), with installation or delivery partners working on your project, and with the service providers that run our website and email. These parties may only use the information for that purpose. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
Cookies, videos and third-party services
This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. Videos on our Video Blog are embedded from YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode and only load when you press play; YouTube’s own privacy policy then applies. Links to other websites, such as manufacturer or social media pages, are governed by those sites’ policies.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and project information for as long as it is needed for the purposes above, including any warranty and after-sales service period and our legal and accounting obligations, and then delete or anonymise it.
Security
Form submissions are sent over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and delivered to our team by email. We take reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Your choices and rights
