KV 350 Windows with Integrated Blinds — Slim uPVC/Aluminum
The KV 350 is the slimmest Internorm window with a blind built in: 74 mm deep, uPVC on the room side, weatherproof aluminum outside. Sun and privacy protection sit between the panes, which makes it a strong choice for renovations and for facades where shutters are not an option.

A narrow window that does four jobs
Most houses handle shading with two purchases: the window, then a blind or shutter added later. The KV 350 merges them. Internorm built it around four advantages in a single unit, thermal insulation, sound reduction, sun protection and privacy, with the blind housed between the panes rather than hanging in the room or fixed to the facade.
What sets the KV 350 apart from its siblings is its size. A 74 mm construction depth and a 70 mm frame with a 42 mm sash make it the most compact window with integrated blinds in the Internorm range. Narrow profiles leave more of each opening to glass, and a shallow frame is easier to work into an existing wall, where trim, sills and interior returns all have to be respected.
It is also the natural partner for the KF 310 uPVC/aluminum window. Internorm designed the two to combine, and both are 74 mm deep, so you can use the KV 350 where you want shading, such as bedrooms, a bright kitchen or a west-facing office, and the KF 310 everywhere else.

Why the KV 350 works so well in a renovation
Ultra-slim 74 mm depth
Internorm calls it ultra-slim. A shallow frame keeps interior reveals tidy and helps in retrofit openings where every millimetre of wall depth is already spoken for.
Shading without a shutter box
No exterior housing, no guide rails, no cassette on the room side. The blind is inside the window, so the opening looks like a clean window from both sides.
6-chamber frame, triple gaskets
Six chambers in the uPVC profile add insulation, and three gaskets keep moisture out of the interior while improving thermal and acoustic performance.
Concealed locking to RC 2
The locking hardware sits inside the frame, out of sight, with security available up to resistance class RC 2.
I-tec Decor interiors
Match the room-side uPVC to floors or millwork with I-tec Decor digital printing: 13 designs, from Oak light to Concrete grey, under a top coat that resists UV and household cleaners.
Pairs with the KF 310
Use the KV 350 where you want blinds and the KF 310 uPVC/aluminum window elsewhere. Same 74 mm depth, designed to combine.
Two design styles
The KV 350 comes in two of Internorm’s design styles, so the same window can suit a new modern home or a century house.

home pure
Square edges and straight lines. Internorm’s contemporary style, at home in flat-roof builds, modern infill houses and clean-lined renovations.

ambiente
Rounded, profiled edges and classic detailing for traditional facades. Add glued-on Georgian bars to echo the original window pattern of an older home.

Control light room by room
Because the blind sits between the panes, it cuts glare and sun heat at the glass without anything fixed to the outside wall. On an east-facing bedroom that means a darker room at dawn; in a west-facing kitchen it means a more comfortable evening. Venetian slats tilt to keep daylight while taking the edge off the sun, and an opaque Duette® option closes the view completely where it is available.
On energy, the KV 350 reaches Uw 0.79 W/m²K with the best glass coating, and its six-chamber frame and triple gaskets keep cold and moisture out through an Ontario winter. If your energy model or a Passive House target calls for a lower Uw, the KV 440 or the timber/aluminum HV 450 is the better fit.
Blinds come in more than 15 colours, so you can choose a shade that disappears into a white room or one that becomes part of the interior palette.
Operation and maintenance
The KV 350 opens like any Internorm tilt & turn window: tilt the sash for gentle ventilation, or turn it fully open for airing and cleaning. The integrated blind does not interfere with either movement.
With solar-powered I-tec Shading, the blind runs from its own photovoltaic module and back-up battery, so there is nothing to wire. Control it at the window, by remote or from the app, or let automatic mode open and close the Venetian slats with the sun.
Care is simple. Wipe the glass and frame with a damp cloth and a mild cleaning solution. There are no slats to dust and no cords to untangle, and if you want a different blind colour in a few years, the clip-on/clip-off system allows the blind to be changed.
- No cords or strings hanging in the room
- No exterior shutter to clear of snow or ice

KV 350 questions
For slimness and a traditional option. The KV 350 is 74 mm deep, offers the ambiente style for older homes and pairs with the KF 310. The KV 440 insulates better (Uw 0.64 against 0.79 W/m²K), adds the home soft style and has I-tec Insulation in the frame as standard. If energy performance comes first, choose the KV 440; if a slim frame matters more, the KV 350.
No. Internorm supplies the KV 350 only as a uPVC/aluminum window: uPVC on the room side, aluminum cladding outside. The aluminum shell carries the exterior colour and takes the weather, so the outside never needs repainting.
Often, yes. The ambiente style has rounded, profiled edges with classic detailing, glued-on Georgian bars are available, and with the blind inside the window there is no shutter box to add to the facade. Internorm specifically recommends integrated blinds where facades do not permit shutters. Check local heritage requirements early; we can provide technical information to support your application.
Internorm quotes Uw as low as 0.79 W/m²K for the KV 350 with the best glass coating, and 1.0 W/m²K with the standard coating. The real figure depends on window size, glazing and blind, so we confirm it for your actual openings when we quote.
Yes. Internorm’s clip-on/clip-off system lets integrated blinds be changed or interchanged, and there are more than 15 colours to choose from.
Not with I-tec Shading. A photovoltaic module and back-up battery power the blind with no external supply, which keeps a renovation simple: nothing has to be chased into finished walls.
