The HF 410 is Internorm’s natural all-rounder: real timber inside, a powder-coated aluminum shell outside, and the only timber-aluminum window offered in all four Internorm design styles. One timber window, four architectural characters
Most timber-aluminum windows come in one profile and ask the house to fit around it. The HF 410 works the other way. Internorm builds it in studio, home pure, home soft and ambiente, so the sash can follow the building: flush and minimal for contemporary glass architecture, square-edged for clean modern lines, rounded for a softer look, or contoured with classic detailing for traditional facades.
Behind every style sits the same construction. Timber forms the room-side face, a thermal foam layer insulates the core, and aluminum cladding takes the weather. Internorm credits this timber, thermal foam and aluminum bond with outstanding insulation at a low construction depth, which is how the HF 410 reaches a Uw as low as 0.64 W/m²K in a frame only 85 mm deep. I-tec Glazing, the all-round bonding of glass to sash, comes as standard and adds stability and burglary resistance.
Specify the HF 410 in living spaces and the KF 410 uPVC/Aluminum in bathrooms, and the exterior reads as one facade.

The four profiles share one frame system and the same performance; only the shape of the sash and its shadow lines change.
Studio
Flush and minimalist. Clean lines let large glazing become the design feature in its own right, the natural partner for contemporary houses with big, uninterrupted openings.
Home pure
Square-edged and contemporary. Simple straight lines suit modern infill homes, laneway builds and crisp renovations where the window should look precise rather than ornamental.
Home soft
Rounded edges give a sleek, timeless look that blends into almost any design. A safe choice when a house mixes modern and traditional elements under one roof.
Ambiente
Contoured, with classic detailing. The profiled edges add character to traditional facades, which makes ambiente the style to shortlist for heritage-minded renovations and period homes.
Real wood on the room side, finished before it leaves Austria
Inside, the HF 410 is a timber window. Choose spruce, larch, oak or walnut, each in a range of varnished, stained or oiled tones, or opaque timber when the frame should sit quietly against a painted wall. InterHaus points to grey oak as one example: an interior colour that carries a modern scheme of clear shapes, plain materials and discreet colours.
Every surface is factory finished, so there is no sanding, staining or sealing on site. Timber is natural, so each window is unique and a pronounced grain can differ from a printed sample; choose from real samples at our Oakville showroom.

A Uw of 0.64 W/m²K describes the whole window, frame and glass together. In a cold snap a low Uw keeps the room-side glass closer to room temperature, which removes the chill beside the window and lowers the risk of interior condensation; our guide to condensation-resistant windows explains why.
Triple glazing and triple gaskets are standard. Internorm points out that triple thermal glazing, compared with double, lets you include 40% more glass area without raising heating costs, a real advantage for south-facing rooms that collect low winter sun. Dew on the outside of the pane on a clear, cold morning means the insulation is working: so little heat escapes that the outer glass stays cold.
For sound, the HF 410 reaches 33–46 dB depending on the glass build-up. Tell us which rooms face a highway, rail line or flight path, and we will specify the glass for quiet as well as warmth.
HF 410 opening types
Order the HF 410 as tilt & turn, tilt-only or turn-only sashes, fixed lights, or combinations of fixed and opening sections in one frame. The same system also forms lockable doors and doors with a threshold, so a whole elevation shares one timber and sightline.

HF 410 questions
For brick Victorians and older farmhouses, ambiente is usually the closest match, because its contoured edges echo classic joinery. Home soft suits transitional houses. You can still use studio or home pure on a modern rear addition, since all four styles are the same HF 410 system.
Yes. The HF 410 and the KF 410 uPVC/aluminum share the same external aluminum cladding, so the outside looks uniform while the inside changes room by room. Internorm suggests exactly this split: uPVC-aluminum for bathrooms, timber-aluminum for the other rooms. Both windows are offered in all four design styles.

The timber arrives factory finished, and because the aluminum cladding takes the rain, snow and UV, the wood lives in the same conditions as your floors and furniture. Follow the Internorm care manual supplied with the windows: Internorm’s warranty on the timber, thermal foam and aluminum compound depends on its fitting and maintenance guidelines.
Yes. Internorm notes that the HF 410 combines easily with HX 300 fixed glazing, and the HS 330 timber-aluminum lift-slide door is designed to match it with the same timber choices. For rooms that need shading, the HV 450 shares the HF 410’s 70 mm frame, 38 mm sash and 85 mm depth, and adds blinds between the panes.
RC stands for resistance class, the European scale for burglar resistance; a higher class resists a more determined attack for longer. The HF 410 is available at RC 1 N and RC 2, and its bonded glass cannot be pushed out of the sash. We can advise which openings, such as hidden rear windows, justify RC 2.
