Our Oakville showroom at 217 Speers Rd.

The InterHaus showroom is at 217 Speers Rd. Unit 8, Oakville, ON L6K 2E8. It is the best place to understand what separates a European tilt & turn window from the windows most North American homes have: you can open the sashes, feel the weight of the hardware and see how the gaskets close against the frame.

The displays include tilt & turn windows, lift-slide doors and entrance doors, among them an AT 540 door paired with a KF 410 sidelight. Seeing the products together makes it easier to settle choices like frame material, design style and handle, which are hard to judge from a brochure or a screen.

To make the most of your visit, call ahead on +1 (437) 826-2067 or toll-free at (888) 770-4917 so a product specialist can set time aside for you. If you would like ideas before you come, browse the project gallery.

During your visit

What to look at in the showroom

A showroom visit is most useful when you test the things a brochure cannot show. These are worth a few minutes each.

Open a tilt & turn sash

One handle position tilts the sash inward at the top for secure ventilation; another swings it fully inward like a door for cleaning and maximum airflow.

Compare design styles

Look at square-edged and softer frame profiles side by side, and see how each would read in your rooms from the inside and the outside.

Check the sightlines

Judge how much frame you see around the glass. It matters most on large windows and in rooms where the view is the point.

Push a lift-slide door

Internorm lift-slide doors run on rollers at the bottom, so even a very heavy sash moves with a light push. Try it before you commit to a large opening.

Try an entrance door

Operate the handle and locking of the AT 540 on display, and see how a sidelight from the KF 410 window range sits beside it.

Ask about the glass

Talk to a specialist about triple glazing, safety glass and design glass for doors and bathrooms, and how each choice affects light and privacy.

Before you call or visit

What to bring to your first conversation

You do not need a finished design to talk to us. The more we can see, though, the faster we can give useful advice and, later, an accurate quote. For a renovation, photos and approximate sizes are enough to start. For a new build, the drawings tell us almost everything, including wall thickness and how each window will sit in the assembly.

These are the items that help most:

  • Architectural drawings: floor plans, elevations and sections, plus a window and door schedule if your architect has prepared one
  • Sizes: rough opening dimensions for renovations, or the drawn sizes for new construction, noting whether they are frame or opening sizes
  • Photos of the existing windows and the walls around them, inside and out, for replacement projects
  • Performance targets, such as Passive House certification, Net Zero or a specific energy model
  • Preferences you already have: frame material, interior and exterior colours, design style, handles, integrated blinds or security level
  • The site location, and whether you plan to use our installation, your own installer or our on-site supervision

Who contacts InterHaus

We work with everyone involved in a building, and each group tends to need something slightly different from us.

Homeowners

Replacing windows in an existing home or building a new one. We explain the options in plain terms, show the products in the showroom and recommend systems that suit the house, the climate and your priorities.

Architects and designers

Specifying windows for high-performance or design-led projects. We provide technical input on systems, glazing and details, with drawings and data available through our trade portal.

Builders and contractors

Pricing and building to a specification. We quote from your window schedule, coordinate delivery from our Ontario warehouse and offer installation or on-site supervision.

Developers

Delivering modern residential projects. We help you choose systems that balance performance, design and consistency across units, and plan supply around your build.

What happens after you contact us

Whichever way you reach us, by phone, email, the form or a showroom visit, the next steps follow the same pattern.

  1. 01

    We read and reply

A member of the team reviews your message and any drawings or photos you have sent, and gets back to you promptly.

  2. 02

    We clarify the brief

We ask the questions that matter for windows: performance goals, wall construction, opening types, finishes and who will install.

  3. 03

    We recommend

You get a recommendation for suitable systems with the reasoning behind it, and an invitation to see them in the showroom if that helps.

  4. 04

We quote when you are ready

Once the openings are defined, we prepare a detailed quotation. If your drawings are ready now, go straight to our quote request.

Building a Passive House?

Passive House projects can get a quote within 72 hours. Mention your certification target when you get in touch, and see the certified systems we supply on our Passive House page.

Where we work

Contacting us from outside the GTA

Our showroom is in Oakville, but InterHaus supplies and installs across Canada. Many projects are in Ontario and Québec, and distance is rarely a barrier to getting started: drawings, photos, calls and email cover most of the early work.

For a site far from Oakville, tell us where it is and who will install. We can deliver from our Ontario warehouse for your own crew, install with our fitters, or supervise a local installer on site for a few days, depending on what suits the project. Let us know the stage the building has reached, too, so we can plan the conversation around the decisions you need to make now.

In Ontario, our supply and installation service areas include Toronto, Oakville, Milton, Mississauga, Burlington, Hamilton, Halton, Niagara-on-the-Lake, Muskoka, Kingston and Ottawa.

“Absolutely incredible windows, best out there, and Interhaus has been a pleasure to work with. They « saved » us after a bad experience with another windows company, and I just wish we had found them from the beginning. Seamless process with them, excellent communication throughout. A++ competent and efficient installers. Highly recommend if you’re looking for high quality windows and amazing customer service.”
